The Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week will be held this year from September 21 to 25. For five days, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be a regional hub for dialogue on energy, climate and the green transition, the organizers said.

Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week – SECW 2026 is organized by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović.

“SECW 2026 is a key platform for bringing together regulatory requirements, new technologies and investments, without which the survival of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s exporters in the European market would not be possible,” said Mirsad Jašarspahić, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Registration is open on the event’s official website

The organizers said SECW 2026 would bring together decision-makers, representatives of institutions and diplomatic missions, international organizations, financial institutions, businesses, academia and experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and Europe.

Over the five-day event, which will run from September 21 to 25, 23 panel discussions and a series of side events are planned, with more than 200 panelists, keynote speakers and moderators taking part, the organizers said. Registration is open, and those interested can register on the event’s official website.

The first day of SECW will be dedicated to the sustainable energy transition, including decarbonization, renewable energy, energy security, CBAM, ETS and climate resilience. Discussions on the second day will focus on markets and financing, electricity grids, digitalization, innovation, electromobility and green hydrogen.
