Fortis Energy concluded an agreement with photovoltaic mounting systems manufacturer Schletter Group to cover more than 300 MW in solar-plus-storage projects in Europe. They are due for materialization in 2027. President of Fortis Energy Mehmet Burak Üçkardeş and CEO Schletter Group Daniel Rehm marked the start of cooperation.
The latest in a series of deals for supply and services partnerships will provide Fortis Energy with core components. It is signing agreements with specialized manufacturers on a project-portfolio basis for its 2027 construction cycle.
Over the coming months, teams from Fortis Energy and Schletter Group, which makes mounting systems for photovoltaics, will plan and prepare locations for more than 300 MW of solar power with battery storage. The cooperation includes site-specific structural design, delivery scheduling and installation planning.

Fortis Energy said it is a substantial chunk of its near-term pipeline in Europe, where it develops and invests in solar, wind and battery storage under its green baseload strategy. The company added that the joint efforts may extend to further projects.

The agreement was concluded by President of Fortis Energy Mehmet Burak Üçkardeş, and Chief Executive Officer of Schletter Group Daniel Rehm, alongside Fortis Energy’s Vice President of Business Development Hakkı Barış Karaca and Schletter’s Global Director of Sales Thomas Dorsch and Umut Gürsan, head of international sales.
Projects in Serbia, Albania enter ready-to-build stage
Fortis Energy earlier revealed that it has reached ready-to-build (RTB) status on three utility-scale solar projects in Southeast Europe, totalling 375 MW of peak capacity and 112 MWh of battery energy storage.
The Ersekë (Erseka) solar power plant in Albania would have 75 MW, paired with a 40 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The Noćaj facility in Serbia of 270 MW would be integrated with 72 MWh of storage capacity, and the Green project in the same country is for 30 MW of PV capacity.
All three sites are permitted and hold secured grid connection agreements, the announcement reads. Commercial operation for Ersekë and Green is scheduled for the fourth quarter 2027, and for the second quarter of 2028 for Noćaj.
The said endeavors are part of a pipeline exceeding 3.5 GW and are adding to more than 800 MW already delivered across seven countries, Fortis Energy said.
