With the new Fronius Reserva Pro high-voltage battery—whose cells and modules are manufactured in Europe—the company underscores its strong commitment to European quality, safety, and security.
The Fronius Reserva Pro battery – more independence for bigger needs

The high-voltage Fronius Reserva Pro battery can be expanded up to 128 kWh and paired with the Fronius Verto Plus hybrid inverter, offering up to 33.3 kW per device. Perfectly matched to the Fronius Verto Plus and GEN24 Plus hybrid inverters, the Fronius Reserva Pro integrates seamlessly into the Fronius product portfolio, from commissioning through everyday operation.
Ready for anything—including power outages
The Fronius Reserva Pro reinforces Fronius Solar Energy’s long-standing leadership in intelligent storage, backup solutions, and battery management. Kristijan Topalovic, Technical Advisor in Croatia, explains: “With the addition of the innovative Fronius Backup Controller, the Fronius storage system switches from grid to full backup mode in a heartbeat. The efficient, space-saving Backup Controller saves both time and money, as it is mounted directly on the DIN rail, eliminating the need for a bulky external switchover box.”
Maximum efficiency of 99.1 % for commercial systems
“For even larger systems, the Fronius Argeno in the 125 kW power category impresses with minimal conversion losses and a peak efficiency of 99.1%, achieved through innovative silicon carbide technology. With ten powerful MPP trackers, it optimizes energy yield even with varying module orientations and tilt angles,” Technical Advisor Nevena Kisin goes on. Flexible installation options—including oversizing of up to 200% are onboard and comprehensive safety features such as integrated Type 1+2 surge protection ensure that the European-produced Fronius Argeno sets highest standards for commercial and industrial PV projects.
