The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has published a vacancy announcement for the position of Associate Programme Officer, Geothermal Energy, to be based in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Under the direct supervision of the Head, Partnerships and Technical Advisory Services and the overall guidance of the Director of the Country Support and Partnerships Division, the Associate Programme Officer will work in the area of geothermal direct use applications as well as relevant activities undertaken in the context of the Global Geothermal Alliance, including, geothermal energy for district heating and cooling in the urban setting as well as for food production and processing.

The vacancy announcement provides financial compensation and other details. The deadline for application is August 11.
