Ministry of Mining and Energy called on Serbian scientific research institutions to apply for joint renewable energy projects with Masdar Institute from the United Arab Emirates, owned by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company.

All applications received by March 27 are to be sent to Masdar Institute for consideration. The cooperation, based on a memorandum from 2013, shall include exchange of experts with the institute and joint scientific research in both countries. Contracts are expected to be signed by June 1, the ministry said.
