RENEXPO WATER & ENERGY will take place on April 24 – 26 in Belgrade and this year it will gather over 2,000 experts from Serbia, region and Europe to exchange opinions, knowledge and information on the latest technological advancements, innovations and solutions for sustainable development in the field of energy and the environment.

RENEXPO WATER & ENERGY is the largest international trade fair and conference program in the region about sustainable energy development, energy efficiency, environmental protection, water management and waste and e-mobility,

The official partner country this year is Germany, which is participating with 16 companies that will present technical solutions and equipment. The recognizable orange pavilions are now made up of 15 companies from the Netherlands. A large number of companies from Austria, France, Hungary and other countries will also participate in the event, which are genuine leaders in new technologies and the development of complex solutions in energy and environmental management.

“RENEXPO in Belgrade is again this year a real international platform,” said Johan Georg Röhm, director of REECO Serbia, which organized the event. He added that international character means that 65 percent of exhibitors and 20 percent of visitors are coming from abroad.

Program part of the event

In the program part of the event, several important conferences will be held in three days, which will, through lectures, analyzes and presentations of leading consultants, representatives of state institutions, local self-governments, associations, public utility companies and business sectors, seek for solutions for some of the most common problems that investors face, but also will identify existing opportunities for new projects and investments.

The conferences are intended for all those dealing with current topics, such as wastewater treatment (wastewater, drinking water), water infrastructure, energy efficiency of water supply, waste management (Waste-to-energy) and new technologies, energy efficiency in industry and building , biomass, biogas, solar and hydropower plants, wind farm construction projects and the beginning of the development of a completely new area – Electric vehicles (electric car industry) and associated infrastructure.

Participation in conferences this year, thanks to the sponsors is free of charge.

Sponsors of this year’s fair are ProCredit Bank, Global Hydro, Siemens Gamesa, Winery Bikicki, water Tronoša, Termogamma Energy.

The institutional support for the fair is the Ministry of Mining and Energy, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, as well as the Embassies of Germany, Netherlands, and Israel.

The official opening of the fair will be held on April 24 at 11:30.

Entrance to the fair is free, with the required registration.
