The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) launched a call for Young Energy Ambassadors. This unique opportunity is for young professionals aged 18 to 34 who are contributing to the energy transition from across the European Union to represent the event’s young audience and act as multipliers of its campaign.

If you are a passionate advocate for sustainable energy and want to be at the forefront of the movement, seize this chance to apply for the Young Energy Ambassadors program. It is an opportunity for the young to contribute to the global shift towards a greener future.

Young Energy Ambassadors are invited to help boost EUSEW’s messages within the youth energy community and among stakeholders, as well as advocate for this year’s theme – ‘Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Europe’. In return, they benefit from the partnership and high-level visibility across official communication channels.

The deadline for applications is March 3

The deadline for applications is Sunday, March 3. The group will be formed by 30 young people around Europe, from different sectors and career stages (studies, employment, personal engagement). The selection process prioritizes diversity in terms of gender, age, profession, and nationality.

The ambassadorship program will run from April 2024 to June 2025

When assessing applications, three key criteria will be considered, each evaluated on a scale from 1 to 10: profiles, action, and impact. Applicants should emphasize originality, articulate their journey, and provide a detailed description of tangible actions they have taken. Also, the application should explicitly demonstrate the impact of described activities.

A member of the selected group will be involved in the activities of the European Youth Energy Day that will take place in Brussels during the event. The ambassadorship program will run from April 2024 to June 2025. The EUSEW organizing team will cover travel expenses and accommodation.
