WISE Serbia, the network of women in sustainable energy, has announced a call for new members under the slogan #BeWise, encouraging all interested women – professionals and students alike – to apply and join in. The call is open until August 15. Current and new members will meet for a conference in Belgrade, planned for the second half of September.
More and more women worldwide are getting professionally involved in sustainable energy, climate action, and the green economy. This trend has not bypassed Serbia as it strives to implement the energy transition and the Green Agenda and decarbonize its energy sector and economy as a whole.
WISE Serbia network of women was founded as early as 2018 as one of the first such networks in Europe. Today, the network gathers 150 women, promoting active participation, representation, and a more vital role of women in energy and related sectors.
