The Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska expanded the cooperation with Balkan Green Energy News in covering the activities in the energy sector, including the ministry’s role as the institutional partner of the regional conference Belgrade Energy Forum. Minister Petar Đokić, who will participate in the headline panel at BEF 2026, signed a memorandum of understanding with BGEN’s Founder and Editor-in-Chief Branislava Jovičić.

The synergy is aimed at enhancing access to information about the energy transition process and investment potentials of the Republic of Srpska for professionals, businesspeople and investors.

Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska Petar Đokić and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Balkan Green Energy News Branislava Jovičić signed a memorandum of understanding today in Banja Luka on cooperation between the ministry and CFS Media & Advisory.

The document facilitates prompt reporting on the most significant developments in the energy sector in the Republic of Srpska, together with the ministry’s institutional partnership with BEF 2026.

Đokić is participating in the ministerial panel discussion at the event. It will be held on May 11 and 12 in Belgrade, for the fourth time.

It is especially significant for the energy transition to make information on reform  and development policies available to the regional and international expert community, Minister Petar Đokić pointed out.

“Balkan Green Energy News has profiled itself as one of the most influential specialized media outlets in the energy sector in the region, and this cooperation enables us to present our reform processes, investment potentials and development processes to the wider regional and international expert community in a credible and professional way,” he stated.

Expanded engagement to improve outreach to investors

The new document is lifting the existing cooperation to another level, aiming to enhance the outreach of information toward professionals, businesspeople and investors about the energy transition process and investment potentials of the Republic of Srpska, Branislava Jovičić underscored.

“This memorandum confirms our dedication to promoting a transparent, responsible and innovative approach in the energy sector, with the goal of keeping all the stakeholders updated. We are looking forward to joint activities that will improve energy literacy and informedness, support the energy transition, strengthen the regional and international cooperation and contribute to the security of supply in challenging geopolitical times. We express our gratitude to the ministry for the trust placed in us,” Jovičić said.

Balkan Green Energy News has also signed a memorandum on cooperation and partnership with the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources of North Macedonia.
