The USD 350 million financing facility launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) was joined by İş Bankası AŞ (İşbank), headquartered in Levent, Istanbul.

The purpose of the programme is to boost investment in energy efficiency improvements for homes, EBRD said.

The Turkey Residential Energy Efficiency Financing Facility (TuReeff) includes USD 282.5 million from the EBRD and USD 67.5 million from the CTF.

The advisory services are financed by a USD 10 million grant from the European Union and the CTF.
