Croatian energy storage company Rimac Energy is designing, developing, and manufacturing innovative battery energy storage systems in Europe, and it not only helps local economies, but also localizes control and enables optimizing the solutions for the needs of the local market, Director Wasim Sarwar Dilow said.
“Rimac Energy designs, develops, and manufactures its sophisticated energy storage systems right here in Europe. At the same time we are leveraging the latest technology and bringing our own innovations to the fore and reinventing the way that we create battery energy storage systems,” Wasim Sarwar Dilow stressed.
He has represented Rimac Energy, a pioneer in advanced battery energy storage systems (BESS), at Belgrade Energy Forum 2024, which gathered 500 participants from 30 countries.
Rimac Energy is oriented toward designing, developing and manufacturing its battery systems in Southeast Europe including software development, data management and localized support.
It helps localize control, he noted during a panel on accelerating energy storage investments in the region.
Domestic design and manufacturing, in his words, enables BESS to be optimized for the needs of the local market and supports the economy.
According to Sarwar Dilow, the company’s systems are more efficient, longer lasting and more compact than the competitors’, enabling it to create “supercompelling” energy storage solutions that are also more profitable.
“We are highly focused here on the Southeastern European market and we’re really focused on bringing our solutions to a number of the customers in and around this region,” Sarwar Dilow noted.
Rimac Energy SineStack is a modular and scalable system that takes up very little space. The improvement in floor space against other available solutions is 40%, the company said.
Rimac Energy is a brand of Rimac Technology, part of Rimac Group.
