The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the largest annual event dedicated to renewable sources and the efficient use of energy. This year it will be held in a hybrid format. From June 20 to 22, events can be attended online or in person in Brussels. There is a limited number of places for personal attendance.

EUSEW 2023 will bring together high-level speakers such as European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, Solar Impulse Foundation’s Chairman Bertrand Piccard, Director-General of the European Commission’s DG Energy Ditte Juul Jørgensen and Deputy Mayor of Budapest Kata Tüttő.

Onsite attendance will take place at the European Commission’s Charlemagne building and the nearby Martin’s Hotel, with all sessions being livestreamed through the dedicated online event platform.

Government institutions, energy agencies, industrial associations, businesses, civil society organizations, the media, European institutions, private companies, research organizations, citizen groups, non-governmental organizations and everyone interested in Europe’s transition to renewable energy are invited to join to the events in Brussels.

The number of seats to attend events in person are limited, so register in time.

EUSEW includes a wide range of events from informal networking during the Energy Fair to thematic keynote presentations by senior officials. This year, young people will once again have the opportunity to connect with the community, during the European Youth Energy Day.

After the opening, a ceremony will be held for European Sustainable Energy Awards for 2023. Awards will be given to individual and collective ventures that have demonstrated exceptional results in the field of energy efficiency and green energy.

The theme of EUSEW 2023 is ‘Accelerating the clean energy transition – towards lower bills and greater skills’. There will be 60 sessions on the legal framework and seven plenary sessions, covering topics related to skills, energy efficiency, accessibility and inclusion, renewable energy and decarbonisation.

All registered press representatives will have a dedicated space available onsite. All questions or requests for interviews should be submitted in advance, organizers underscored.
