Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlović said following a meeting with representatives of Chinese conglomerate Sinomach that all companies from China are welcome to work in Serbia, especially on large infrastructural projects in power generation and renewable energy. Such projects will soak the bulk of the EUR 17 billion that is planned to be invested in Serbia’s mining and energy sector, according to her.

Sinomach is interested in expanding its operations into this part of Europe, said a company representative, according to a press release from the Mining and Energy Ministry following the meeting.
