The Ministry of Environmental Protection has launched a public consultation on a draft law on waste management. The discussions will last until November 20, the ministry said on its website.

A presentation of the draft law on waste management will be held at the Belgrade City Assembly on November 12, starting at noon.

The decision on holding the public consultation, along with a program of the consultation, was adopted by the Serbian Government’s Committee on Economy and Finance.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection has invited interested stakeholders, as well as professionals, to get acquainted with the text of the draft law, which is available for download on the ministry’s website, and submit their comments and suggestions.

Proposals, suggestions, initiatives, and comments should be submitted to the ministry in the comments’ form, or by e-mail to sekretarijat@ekologija.gov.rs, or to the ministry’s mailing address.
