Turkey’s engineering and construction company Enprode and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s renewable energy project developer Imres Smart have signed a memorandum of cooperation for the construction of the Livno wind farm.
The memorandum was signed during the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum by Yuksel Guler, CEO of Enprode and Pero Vrdoljak, top man at Imres Smart.
“The first phase of the project is a 100 MW wind farm, while the second phase envisages a 100 MW hydroelectric power plant,” Yuksel Guler said.
Denis Zvizdic, chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Mehmet Simsek, deputy prime minister of Turkey, and Haldun Koc, Turkey’s ambassador to BiH, attended the signing ceremony.
The two companies announced the construction of the wind farm and pump storage hydropower plant in November 2017.
