The European Commission has published a call for consultancy services in the field of energy efficiency and renewables that will help reduce energy poverty in the Ionian Adriatic macro-region.

The project’s aim is to provide a blueprint for making building renovations easier as well as increasing the energy share of renewables to 100% in the macro-region, the European Commission announced.

It said that the energy efficiency options and an increasing share of renewables are to be assessed at a regional level. This will be done in order to structure efficient use of possible additional funding and financing in order to promote larger scale energy efficiency programs deployed by national, regional or local authorities.

The total value of the project is estimated at EUR 1 million excluding VAT. The project duration is 12 months.

Deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is October 4, 2017.

The procurement documents are available at the Tenders Electronic Daily, online platform dedicated to European public procurement.
