Nordex Group received an order for the supply and installation of eleven N175/6.X wind turbines for the Jasikovo wind farm in eastern Serbia. The machines will be on 119‑metre tubular steel towers and operated with a rating of up to 7 MW apiece, but for 70 MW in total.
The Jasikovo wind power project in Serbia is a step closer to construction with an order for N175/6.X turbines from Nordex Group. The manufacturer revealed that it includes a 30-year premium service contract, with the option to extend it by five years.
Kodar Energomontaža is entitled to market premiums through its project firm Jasikovo. The subsidiary won them last year at the country’s second round of renewable energy auctions. The land is near the village of the same name in the Serbian Carpathian Mountains in the east.
It spans the territories of the municipalities of Majdanpek and Žagubica. The developer recently obtained a construction permit, which includes a 33/110 kV substation.
Wind speed is eight meters per second
All turbines will be equipped with the Nordex Anti‑Icing System, according to the update. Its eleven machines will be on 119‑metre tubular steel towers and operated with a rating of up to 7 MW apiece, but for 70 MW in total.
The project has a contract for difference (CfD) for 34.9 MW. At hub height, the average wind speed is eight meters per second.
Jasikovo to be first in Serbia with Nordex Anti‑Icing System
Initial power generation is expected to begin in July 2027, while the first turbine is supposed to be installed three months earlier, Nordex Group said. The entire wind farm is forecast to deliver a net annual energy production of more than 270 GWh.
Nordex Group scheduled the launch of production of the first section for July next year
“This project once again underlines the strong competitiveness of our N175/6.X turbine and the growing demand for high‑performance solutions in South‑Eastern Europe. Jasikovo marks the first time that Nordex turbines in Serbia are outfitted with our Anti-Icing System. We are very pleased to continue our success story in Serbia and to contribute significantly to the country’s renewable energy expansion,” says the company’s Director of Sales for Mediterranean East, Paris Lappas.
With the Jasikovo project, Nordex Group has sold turbines in Serbia of 425 MW overall. It has commissioned more than 64 GW in over 40 markets since 1985. The company generated consolidated sales of around EUR 7.6 billion in 2025.
Serbia hosts 807 MW of wind power, after adding 199 MW last year. WindEurope expects the capacity to grow by 1.3 GW before the end of the decade.
