International Energy and Investment Days in Novi Sad on March 2-3

Sixth International Energy and Investment Days will be held in Novi Sad on March 2-3. It is expected that the event will gather more than 2,000 participants with the aim to encourage investments in the energy sector. Vojvodina province prime minister Igor Mirović will open the event.

The focus of International Energy and Investment Days will be on energy, financing and construction, as well as on the special connection between construction and energy through energy efficiency in buildings. Also, special attention will be paid to the fight against climate change.

Over the course of two days, companies and technologies in the field of energy efficiency, construction, renewable energy sources and environmental protection, financial institutions will be presented as well as the organizations that are funding projects, local governments, agencies and associations.

The programme consists of over 20 conferences, round tables, workshops and B2B meetings, with participation of government and municipal representatives, relevant international and domestic financial and development institutions, companies and other guests.

The purpose of the event is to encourage investment in the energy and construction sector, industrial parks, wastewater treatment facilities, further utilization of renewable energy sources, ESCO contracting and public-private partnerships, energy efficiency upgrades, as well as raising awareness about climate change in Serbia and the region.

In order to make the manifestation known internationally and establish direct contact with foreign investors, the International Energy and Investment Days will once again have special partners in the form of “Partner Country” and “Friend Country” categories.

The event is organized by the Central European Development Forum (CEDEF), the Novi Sad Fair and the Provincial Secretariat for Energy, Construction and Transport. Download the agenda HERE.
