Fifth International Fair and Conference RENEXPO BiH to be held on October 24-25 in Sarajevo

The fifth RENEXPO BiH, international fair and conference on renewable energy sources (RES), environmental protection, water management and energy efficiency, focused on stepping up investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be held on October 24 and 25 at the convention center of the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo.

The RENEXPO BiH will provide modern and efficient promotion, various meetings, and knowledge exchange to participants, with more than 1,500 professionals as fair visitors and 700 conference participants expected, Germany’s REECO Group, the organizer of RENEXPO BiH, has announced.

Over 80 domestic and foreign companies will have the opportunity to present their advanced solutions, technical equipment, business and financial models in the areas of energy efficiency, use of natural resources, water and wastewater infrastructure, solid waste and recycling, as well as models to improve environmental protection and economic standards.

The conference program of the fifth RENEXPO BiH keeps up with market trends, such as crowdfunding, sustainable transport, and the energy management system in BiH.

On the first day of the fair, a conference on small hydropower plants in BiH will be held, at which Miroslav Marence, of the UNESCO-IHE Delft Institute for Water Education will present international practice in the EU, while a representative of the GIZ ProRE, Naida Taso, will elaborate on the hydropower potential of BiH.

Some of the institutional partners that will be present at the fair and conference are USAID, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska, the chambers of commerce of BiH, the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Ecology, and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.

The organizer, REECO Group, has enabled free admission to the fair and conferences with the obligatory online registration.
