Croatian ENNA Group said it would invest EUR 670 million in the energy sector by 2035, out of EUR 1 billion in total.

ENNA Group currently operates in three sectors – energy, logistics, and food. It said it earmarked most of its EUR 1 billion investment plan for energy and logistics.

Its energy division plans to invest EUR 240 million in geothermal energy. Investments in photovoltaic plants are estimated at EUR 330 million and the plan is to install 25 MW to 30 MW per year. The group owns solar power plants with an overall capacity of 10 MW while 75 MW is in the pipeline.

ENNA earmarked EUR 40 million for batteries within its alliance with Croatian company Rimac Energy. They established a strategic partnership in October 2023 for the production and storage of renewable energy.

The group intends to invest EUR 330 million in PV plants

The company has installed 22 power plants with a total capacity of 5 MW within ESCO projects. It intends to invest another EUR 25 million investment in the segment. The company also plans to install chargers for electric vehicles, the update reads.

The group has decided to change the name of its subsidiary ENNA Opskrba, an electricity and natural gas supplier. It would continue business operations under the name ENNA Next.

The firm would offer a one-stop shop model or all energy services in one place, with electricity supply focusing on green energy, natural gas supply, purchase of electricity from renewable energy sources, batteries, and virtual power plants, ENNA stressed.

ENNA Next will offer all energy services in one place

ENNA Next is slated to expand its electricity supply business into Slovenia and Italy, the parent company revealed. It plans to start purchasing renewable electricity in other markets in the European Union. Currently it is only active in Croatia and Germany in the segment. ENNA said it is preparing to enter Slovenia as a natural gas supplier.

The development plan for the period from 2030 to 2035 and the new visual identity of the company was presented by Boštjan Napast, ENNA Group’s president.
