The conference ‘New PPA Package in Serbia – Main Challenges’ will be held in Belgrade on September 22. The goal of the expert meeting is to present the regulations for the renewable energy sector in Serbia. The conference is organized by Petrikic & Partneri AOD in cooperation with CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz with the support of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Belgrade.

The theme of the event will be the benefits which the new regulatory framework will have on the energy market of Serbia. Special attention will be paid to questions of feasibility and profitability of projects related to renewable energy sources and, in particular, green power projects in light of the adoption of the long-awaited Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

The gathering will be attended by the representatives of the Energy Community Secretariat, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), other important actors on the energy market and the main investors in renewable energy projects, as well as CMS team of lawyers.

Also, the meeting will include the topics concerning the ‘political force majeure’ and the change-in-law protection in the decrees and in PPA models.
