British company Hive Energy said it secured land for three projects in Serbia with a combined capacity of 450 MW, out of 14 in development with an overall 2.2 GW. It invests in solar power, green hydrogen and green ammonia and a range of innovative technologies.

Hive Energy, based in Hampshire in South East England, is developing a massive portfolio in Southeastern Europe, with 8 GW in solar power and green hydrogen projects. It recently revealed its ambition to invest USD 4 billion in Turkey in the construction of photovoltaic plants with storage.

In Greece, Hive is working on a 200 MW solar power project in Greece with batteries and a green hydrogen production unit. The government has declared it the first flagship investment of exceptional importance.

The company announced that it secured land for three projects in Serbia with a combined capacity of 450 MW. In the statement, it said it expects to secure land for a 40 MW unit in the coming months and expressed hope that it would do the same for a further 290 MW by mid-year.

The Serbian portfolio consists of 14 projects with 2.2 GW in total, according to the update. Hive Energy, which opened an office in Belgrade in May, added that it is exploring options in Bosnia and Montenegro.

Established in 2011, the firm operates in more than 20 countries. Its activities include carbon capture and utilization as well as the development of solutions for the use of industrial byproducts to create sustainable building materials. Hive Energy is also involved in a venture that is developing a compostable polymer from shellfish waste.

Znači da u Srbiji ubrzo neće biti više seljaka, pardon to se zove zemljoradnika, već samo vlasnika zemlje koji će ubirati pare od struje, kao sheiks u Arabiji ?
Odlično. To se zove seljačka tranzicija.
