Most recently, he was senior banker for the natural resources team’s activities in Southeastern Europe, Turkey and Central Asia, where he was operations leader on a range of complex transactions, EBRD said.

Earlier, the new chief of Albanian office worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in the debt capital markets origination team and as a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen. He holds a masters degree in European studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor’s diploma in politics from the University of Sussex.

EBRD said it has invested  EUR 1 billion in over 70 projects in various sectors of Albania’s economy. The bank’s priorities are the sustainable development of the private sector, enhancing the commercialization of infrastructure projects and promoting sustainable energy and environmentally sound investments, the press release adds.
