Turkey will sell five hydropower units in Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş and Tokat in the central part of the country, the Official Gazette said, as reported by Anadolu Agency’s Energy News Terminal.

The Privatization Administration (ÖIB) announced it will privatize the plants in three lots – Çamlıca in Kayseri, Menzelet and Kilavuzlu plants in Kahramanmaraş, and Almus and Köklüce plants in Tokat. The installed power capacity of the hydro units varies between 27 MW and 124 MW, with 376 in total.

The plants and their immovable properties will be sold through the transfer of operating rights (TOOR) method after sealed tenders are submitted. The bid deadline for Çamlıca is August 19. Offers for Almus and Köklüce are received by September 5, and for Menzelet and Kilavuzlu until September 30.
