The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has launched a tender for the selection of a consulting firm for the digitalization of administrative procedures to improve the business environment for investment in renewable energy sources.
The value of the digitalization job is EUR 250,000, and the application deadline is April 15.
The EBRD plans to hire a consulting firm to implement a two-year project that will digitilize administrative procedures relevant to improving the business environment for renewable energy investments, the public call reads. The beneficiary of the bank’s project is Serbia’s Public Policy Secretariat.
The digitalization of procedures is planned to last 24 months
EBRD expects the project to cut the red tape for investors in renewable energy sources by optimizing and digitalizing relevant business episodes and related administrative procedures.
The assignment is expected to start in Q2 2022 and has an estimated overall duration of up to 24 months, according to the public call.
The selected bidder is supposed to conduct a detailed assessment of the current processes and IT infrastructure behind administrative procedures, build digital infrastructure to enable digitalization, propose regulatory changes to enable full digitalization, and build the capacity of civil servants to manage the system.
