The Municipality of Mali Iđoš has published the detailed regulation plan for the construction of the wind farms Lovćenac, with a capacity of 300 megawatts (MW), and Feketić, of 90 MW.
The Lovćenac wind farm will be installed by WPP West Wind based in Belgrade, owned by Polish renewable company V-Ridium Wind, while Feketić is being developed by Ecoener Wind Power, registered in Belgrade and owned by Grupo Ecoener from Spain, eKapija portal reported.
The detailed regulation plan for the Lovćenac wind farm covers an area of about 5,720 hectares. It includes the cadastral municipalities of Lovćenac, Feketić and Mali Iđoš which stretch east of the Belgrade-Subotica highway along the border with the municipalities of Bečej, Srbobran and Bačka Topola in Serbia’s northwest.
Lovćenac will have about 50 wind turbines, and 21 are envisaged for Feketić
The land intended for construction is predominantly agricultural, and privately owned.
The Lovćenac wind farm will comprise about 50 wind turbines, and due to the proximity of villages Mali Iđoš, Lovćenac and Feketić, certain construction restrictions will be imposed. They will be defined after analysis through modeling of noise dispersion and shadow flicker, as well as analysis on the visual impact on populated places.
The Feketić wind farm should have 21 wind turbines spanning 2,100 hectares south of the settlement of Feketić. The land on which it is planned is also agricultural and privately owned.
