Elias Eco intends to build a facility for processing, storage and sale of solar panels in Požarevac, Serbia.

The company first signed a memorandum of understanding for a hazardous waste incinerator. The MoU between the representatives of the City of Požarevac and Elias Eco, owned by Korea’s corporation Youngsan, was signed in March of last year. The incinerator was supposed to process industrial and medical waste.

According to the city administration’s invitation to the public presentation of the urban project for the investment, the business-commercial facility will store and sell solar panels that the investor produces in a factory in Slovakia.

The facility will make panels according to the dimensions required by clients

The panels will be transported to Serbia from a plant in Slovakia

The facility will be equipped for finishing and quality control according to certified European Union standards.

The urban project was done by the company Aula from Belgrade.

The public debate lasted from May 19 to 26.
