EIT Urban Mobility opened a call for expressions of interest as it is forming a pool of independent contractors. The deadline is April 30.

EIT Urban Mobility is looking for external experts in innovation, business creation, education, citizen engagement, the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS), and its Factory. The independent contractors may assist in a wide array of activities such as evaluation of innovation proposals, monitoring activities and policy and strategy development. Skills, professional experience and expertise linked to any of the listed priorities are welcome.

The advertisement is for European-wide activities. Founded last year, EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

Candidates are instructed to fill the form for the expression of interest and send it in to enter the expert pool. On top of the specifics for the assignment, considerations may include language skills, geographical, sector and gender balance.

Experts of any nationality may register. Experience with European Union–funded projects will be considered an asset, EIT Urban Mobility said.

Prior to any work assignment, the selected experts will be issued guidelines covering a description of the tasks, duration, location, remuneration rates and reimbursement methods. They will be assigned a staff interface. The deadline is April 30.
