The Supervisory Board of power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) has removed the members of the Management Board due to the expiration of their term of office and it appointed new ones for a period of 90 days. The firm released a vacancy announcement for the new leadership of the company – the general manager and six executive directors.

The former Management Board’s term of office has expired, so they had to be removed, EPBIH said on its website.

Bajazit Jašarević, former general manager, served since 2015. He was replaced by EPBiH executive director for power distribution Admir Andelija.

Based on the prior approval of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Supervisory Board of EPBiH has decided to depose the Management Board due to the expiration of its term of office, and to appoint new members for a period of 90 days during which it expects to name new ones to fill the vacancies, EPBiH announced.

The members of the new Management Board are acting general manager Admir Andelija, acting executive director for power production Senad Sarajlić, acting executive director for power distribution Elvir Lojić, acting executive director for supply and trade Zlatan Planinčić, acting executive director for economic affairs Muhamed Ražanica, acting executive director for legal affairs and human resources Ružica Burić and acting executive director for capital investments Senad Salkić.

The deadline for applications for the new board and members of the Audit Committee expires in two weeks

In addition to the plan to appoint a new board, EPBiH also announced vacancies for the positions in the Audit Committee.

Both statements were published on March 3 with a deadline in 15 days to submit applications, according to the announcements.
