Kosovo’s* transmission system operator (TSO) KOSTT and SOWI have signed an agreement on connecting the Selaci 1, 2 and 3 wind farm to the power grid of Kosovo*.

The connection agreement was signed by KOSTT CEO Ilir Shala and SOWI CEO in Kosovo* Ilir Grapci, KOSTT said in a statement.

Following the review of the application by KOSTT and the signing of the connection agreement, the Selaci 1, 2 and 3 wind farm will be built in the northern part of Bajgora, according to the KOSTT press release.

The 105 MW wind farm is expected to be online in 2020, the press release reads.

According to SOWI’s website, SOWI Kosovo L.L.C is a Kosovo-German joint venture that serves as a platform of local and international experts in the field of renewable energy and business development.

* This designation is without prejudice to positions on status and is in line with UNSCR 1244/99 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
