The new chairman of the Management Board of the Croatian electricity transmission system operator HOPS is Mario Gudelj, while Ivica Modrić and Zlatko Visković have been appointed as new board members.

The appointment of new management board members came after the regular termination of the mandate to the former board members – Miroslav Mesić (chairman), Darko Belić and Zdeslav Čerina.

Prior to taking over the chairman position, Gudelj was Assistant Director of the Development, Investment and Construction Department of HOPS. Modrič and Visković also had responsible positions in HOPS – Modrić in Transmission Area (TA) Osijek, Visković in TA Split.

According to Croatian daily Jutarnji list, the new management wants to further strengthen HOPS, to run the country’s transmission system, as well as to maintain, develop and build a transmission network in order to provide reliable supply with minimal costs and improve environmental protection.
