This year 20 selected participants from the whole region of Western Balkans and from other countries of SEE region will address low emission development in the region of Western Balkans, with special focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The summer school is organized in collaboration with GIZ Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe – Energy Efficiency, GIZ bilateral project Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources in Bosnia and Herzegovina and GIZ project Promotion of Energy Efficiency in BIH.

Organizers say that the students will be led though a way of thinking from global to local with the idea that once they complete it, the students will be able to understand key global concepts in terms of low emission development and which tools on local level should be developed.

There is no participation fee. The organizer will provide full fellowship for all 20 participants. Full fellowship includes costs of full board accommodation and study visit. Only cost of transport have to be born by participants themselves.

The deadline for applying is July 1. Interested candidates are to send their CV in English, as well as additional supporting documents (e.g. Letter of motivation, obtained certificates/degrees etc.).
