IENE’s tenth edition of Energy Dialogue,  SE Europe Energy Dialogue, will be organized in Belgrade on June 13-14, Metropol hotel. This year’s Energy Dialogue comes at a time when momentous global developments are taking place with profound implications for the region’s energy situation, says the message of IENE, that has been successfully organizing these conferences ever since the initial one in Thessaloniki back in 2007. The official media partner of the conference is Balkan Green Energy News portal.

The purpose of this regional forum, organized  under the auspices of Serbia’s Ministry of Energy and Mining and with the support of leading international and regional organizations and major energy companies, is to bring together high-ranking government officials, senior business executives and energy experts from all countries of SE Europe and beyond.

The objective IENE wants to achieve during Belgrade event is the exchange of information and ideas, networking and development of cooperation to tackle increased global and regional energy and environmental challenges.

Special theme for this year’s SEEED is connecting SE Europe’s energy markets signifying the tremendous effort taking place in connecting regional energy markets in many different ways. Also, the SE Europe Energy Dialogue gathering in June will deal with EU’s major drive to establish the Energy Union and the emphasis placed on energy security in view of persisting regional instability.

The Dialogue will focus too on the latest developments in the region’s evolving natural gas, electricity and renewables markets and the region’s ongoing energy partnerships with Russia, the Caspian Sea, the East Mediterranean and North Africa.

Regional premier of IENE latest SEE study

Furthermore, IENE has recently published major study “SE Europe Energy Outlook 2016/2017”, that will be presented for the first time in the region at this conference. The study provides an all around assessment of latest developments in SE Europe’s energy sector and includes medium and long term forecasts for energy demand and consumption.

In addition to the official representation from each one of the SE European countries and the participation of top management executives from major energy companies of the region, senior executives from banks and financial institutions donor representatives as well as high ranking officials from international organizations are expected to actively participate in this two day high powered regional meeting.
