Startups, scaleups invited to apply for CEE Startup Challenge

CEE Business Angels Network together with Vestbee, a leading dealflow platform that connects global VC funds, corporates, accelerators and business angels with startups from Central & Eastern Europe, has launched the second edition of CEE Startup Challenge – the biggest online competition for startups and scaleups in the whole region, according to a press release from CEE Business Angels Network.

The first edition of CEE Startup Challenge was very successful, attracting more than 300 applications just from CEE and a number of industry-related corporates, investors, fund managers, accelerators, and business angels, CEE Business Angels Network said.

Who should apply to CEE Startup Challenge? All regional companies that fit in the categories of Transport & Logistics, Proptech & Construction, Industry 4.0, Energy & Cleantech, Agritech, Smart Cities & Home, Space, and ICT & Big Data, the press release reads.

CEE Startup Challenge is supported among others by innogy Innovation Hub and X100lab that are looking to invest in regional startups and help them speed up their growth using global resources and wide networks, according to the press release.

For instance, X100lab offers paid tests of product-market-fit on 8,000 clients’ database, 10 mentorship hours from X100lab experts, sessions with T&L experts, serial entrepreneurs & VCs and ticket to MOVE’19 event worth more than EUR 1,100 for the selected team from Transport & Logistics.

Applicants will also get exposure to global investors, corporates and media, opportunity to get funded, business development support, media coverage, tickets to many startup events and access to different business tools.
