Jaha Solar and Electra signed a contract for the construction of a 3 MW solar power plant for ProCredit Bank Kosovo.

Jaha Solar said the consortium it formed with Electra has been selected as the winning bidder on the international tender of ProEnergy, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of ProCredit Bank Kosovo, for the construction of a 3 MW Solar Park in Lipjan (Lipljan).

The site in the village of Grackë e Vjetër (Staro Gracko), near Prishtina, spans four hectares. It is located 6.5 kilometers from the 110/35 kV Lipjani substation, to which the future photovoltaic system will be connected. The land plot has been rented for two years with the option to purchase, ProCredit said when it issued the call for bids.

Jaha Solar said it would be responsible for the supply, procurement, construction and commissioning of the solar park, while that Electra has been tasked with the design, supply, construction and commissioning of the 20 kV underground cable line for the facility’s grid connection.

Jaha Solar, established in 2016, manufactures solar panels and designs and installs solar power plants.
