International experts in insurance, risk assessment and claims in renewable energy projects will gather in Sofia on September 29 for the From Risk to Resilience forum. The event will focus on real BESS and wind power projects, major losses and complex claims.
The From Risk to Resilience – Real Stories. Real Claims. Real Expertise in Co-located BESS & Wind Projects forum is organised by Renewable Energy Insurance Broker (REIB), AXIS and Lloyd Warwick.
The event will bring together international experts representing three perspectives that rarely meet in one place: project and insurance experience, risk engineering and underwriting, and claims and loss adjusting.
The forum will take place on September 29, at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia in the Bulgarian capital. Attendance is complimentary, but registration is required and the number of participants is limited.
Focus on real projects, losses and claims
Rather than discussing risk in theory, the forum will focus on real BESS and onshore wind projects, major losses and complex claims, the organisers said.
The discussion will explore how risks are assessed and insured, what happens when something goes wrong on a project, and what lessons can be learned from real incidents.
The programme will combine practical project experience with an open discussion of challenging issues and claims-related questions that, according to the organisers, are rarely addressed publicly.
More information about the programme and speakers, as well as registration for the event, is available on the event page.
