The conference ‘ESG, a way of life and doing business’ will be held in Belgrade on September 25. The event is organized by the Association of Italian Industrialists – Confindustria Serbia, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS), and supported by EIT Manufacturing, UniCredit Bank and Generali insurance. The conference offers all interested participants the opportunity to learn about the latest trends, legislative changes and practical challenges affecting ESG processes.

Designed as a dynamic and interactive dialogue, the business event will bring together representatives from leading domestic and international companies, as well as experts in sustainability, who will present the latest topics in ESG. The introductory panel will analyze the intersection of sustainability, finance, and business strategy.

The second panel will offer a detailed analysis of the aspects and implications of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D) and its impact on supply and value chains. The third discussion will focus on the impact of the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) as well as on the pressure on exporters from third countries to reduce emissions in their production.

The final panel will explore how changes in the work environment, including biodiversity, water access and extreme climate changes affect the sustainability of business models and strategies.

The conference will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, at 13-15 Resavska Street in Belgrade, starting at 9:30 AM.
