Croatian energy storage company Rimac Energy is set to deliver its first SineStack battery energy storage system to the United Kingdom.

Rimac Energy, a brand of Rimac Technology, part of Rimac Group, said it has commissioned the first SineStack, its flagship grid-interfacing battery energy storage system (BESS), and that it is now ready for delivery to a site in Colchester, UK.

In the first two years of operation, starting in 2025, the SineStack unit will deliver zero energy capacity fade, retaining more energy capacity throughout the life of the battery and improving revenue generation potential, while maintaining its class-leading lifetime of 12,000 cycles, according to Rimac Energy.

Sarwar Dilov: Our product takes a monumental technological leap forward

SineStack is designed to maximize energy extraction from each module, whether used individually or in combination with others. It dynamically adjusts to the unique characteristics of each cell, allowing for seamless updates and continuous improvements, keeping it at the forefront of energy storage technology, the announcement reads.

Wasim Sarwar Dilov, Director of Rimac Energy, noted that he is exceptionally proud to bring SineStack to market following extensive development and testing.

“In keeping with our Rimac DNA, our product takes a monumental technological leap forward, enabling unparalleled levels of integration, capability, and performance. I’m very much looking forward to scaling up production and deployment of SineStack across Europe,” Rimac Energy pointed out.

SineStack maximizes energy extraction, optimally balances temperatures, and enhances lifetime

It claimed that SineStack incorporates game-changing power conversion technology that is highly integrated both physically and functionally with its battery cells.

By utilizing this innovative architecture and adaptive software, sophisticated multi-scale models are used to calculate the unique internal parameters of every cell and dynamically adjust power conversion operations to maximize energy extraction, optimally balance temperatures, and enhance lifetime, Rimac Energy added.
