National electricity company HEP Group presented new electric vehicles in its fleet to reporters together with the charger network ELEN. The cars were purchased with a subsidy from the Environmental protection and energy efficiency Fund, Croenergo.eu portal said.
The system is part of the group’s strategic project eMobilnost, the report said.
The operator said it works on contracts with municipal authorities to develop the infrastructure starting with pilot projects.
The plan is to also install quick-charging alternative current (AC) stations on highways in the country, the website said.
