A large 105 MW photovoltaic park in the Kozani region, North-West Greece, has become fully operational with the support of ProCredit Bank. The project, consisting of 186 individual PV parks of 0.5 MW to 1 MW each, is testimony to the ability of the bank’s experienced teams to deliver big and complicated projects regardless of the challenges.

During the two years of construction, ProCredit Bank handled and perfectly coordinated the communication among all 90 legal entities, which share ownership of the PV park.

Our trained professionals were also able to keep the processes fast, by holding regular and well-oriented meetings with kIEFER, the lead company that took on the engineering, procurement, and construction of the project.

ProCredit Bank

ProCredit Bank has created a stable financial environment for the investors, by providing them with loans with fixed interest rates. Besides, we are experienced and invested in such projects due to the guiding principles of the International Group we are part of and due to our sensitivity to environmental impact.

Within this context, ProCredit Bank was thrilled to undertake this project, as part of the financing for the project was related to the reforestation of the broad region of Kozani.

Furthermore, our teams of experts in ProCredit Bank are fully capable of navigating through different situations, whether they pertain to business client advisers and sustainability departments or credit risk management. Our trained staff always stays on top of challenges that may arise and thus it is prepared to provide and implement the most efficient solution.

The PV park in the Kozani region makes a true impact on the local community, as it created construction jobs in the last two years and now it has opened positions for maintenance.

This project is not only perfectly in line with ProCredit Bank’s aim to continue supporting SMEs, but is also added to its long record of successful large projects. Our teams will continue to undertake environmental and large-scale works, overcoming the obstacles and managing them most efficiently.
