From October 9 to October 13 Istanbul will become the capital of the world when it comes to energy –  hosting  the World Energy Congress 2016. The meeting will bring together world’s most influential decision makers, at the same time welcoming the speakers from 82 countries including 56 ministers.

Also, World Energy Congress 2016 will be the unavoidable place for experts, main policy makers, opinion leaders and the CEOs of top energy companies such as  Bosch, Siemens, DHL and Silver Spring Networks.

Istanbul will be the host of top executives from the main international financing organizations – European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IDB), OPEC Fund for International Development, Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and Goldman Sachs, who will join in to discuss the financing of global energy transitions.

The event will be hosted by Turkish PM Binali Yıldırım and Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, and held under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
