GGE d.o.o. will produce a feasibility study for the refurbishment of schools and cultural institutions in the Republic of Srpska.

On September 1, entity minister of culture and education Dane Malešević met representatives of the energy services company Luka Komazec and Ankica Barbulov and the head of the Development Agency of Čelinac Aleksandar Branković. The municipality is located in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Srpska’s government said the Ministry for Education and Culture presented the list of facilities GGE’s teams will visit to give assessments. The Slovenian-based company is interested in implementing energy efficiency measures.

“Through energy efficiency projects we plan to reduce heating expenses in schools and cultural institutions. Significant savings would be possible in that way. A pilot project should cover 10 schools in the Republic of Srpska,” Malešević said. Last year GGE expanded its activities to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic, the statement said.
