The Montenegrin Electric Power Company (EPCG) said it has appointed Tonino Maglio as its new executive director.
Tonino Maglio’s predecessor Stefano Pastori resigned from the position due to health problems, according to a statement on the utility’s website.
The state-controlled company stressed its new head has a long working experience in the field of energy. Tonino Maglio came to EPCG from the position of chief executive officer in Edipower, owned by A2A Group, in Brindisi in Italy. He headed the coal power plant since 2007 after serving as maintenance manager and vice manager.
A2A Group owns 41.7% of EPCG while the Montenegrin government has a 57% stake.
