Končar Group said its unit High Voltage Switchgear delivered the equipment for the first phase of the construction of a new 110/35/10 kV transformer station Çorovodë in Albania.
The high voltage gear, connecting and suspension material are for a project which Končar Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering (KET) realized with a local partner for the end customer, the Electricity Power Distribution System Operator (Oshee). In addition to the equipment, the contract includes the delivery of measuring cabinets.
As part of the construction of TS Çorovodë, KET contracted works on testing and commissioning that include connecting the newly built substation to the national dispatch center located in Tirana through Scada ProzaNet system.
TS Çorovodë is located in the Albanian town of the same name which is famous for stone extraction plate, where facilities for final processing need improvement of electricity supply, Končar said.
With this contract Končar continues cooperation with the Albanian utility – ten years ago the Croatian company built Uznova substation of 110/35/10 kV which will now be a source of stable supply for TS Çorovodë, the statement adds.
