Ivicom Consulting, headquartered in Zagreb, obtained a concession for the construction of a wind park with a capacity of up to 40 MW in Una-Sana Canton in Bosnia, SeeNews reported. The project’s total cost is BAM 50 million (EUR 25.56 million), according to the canton’s economy minister Vid Šantić.

The power plant will be located in Teočak in Bihać municipality and it can’t have more than eight wind turbines, the article said. In January the government of the Una-Sana Canton issued a public call to grant a 30 year concession for the wind park project. The winner of the tender is expected to research, design, construct, equip, use and maintain several wind turbines with an individual power of 5 MW each on a block of land in Bihać municipality covering an area of over one thousand hectares, it said at the time.

The concessionaire is a unit of Austria’s Ivicom Holding GmbH. It participates in a consortium which is building the 72 MW wind park Krnovo in Montenegro.
