Instead of Black Friday, Viesmann DOO announced its second humanitarian White Friday. The maker of heating boilers, heat pumps and cooling systems said it would, instead of opting for sales and discounts, give away all the profit made on December 6 to people suffering from polio and cerebral palsy. It has also invited all companies to join the initiative.

The event will be held one week after the shopaholic feast. The subsidiary of German enterprise Viessmann Werke GmbH und Co. KG revealed that this time it would forward the proceeds to the Serbia Associaton for Cerebral and Child Palsy (Savez za cerebralnu i dečiju paralizu Srbije).

The statement adds the concept is to organize “a humanitarian counterbalance” to the popular consumption spree. Viessmann in Serbia expressed hope that all players in the market for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, or HVAC), would join and become donors.
