Applications are open for the Second Data Use for Decision Making Workshop for South-East Europe, scheduled to take place in Sarajevo in early December this year.

Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe – Implementation of Biodiversity Agreements (ORF BDU) under the sub-project “Regional Network for Biodiversity Information Management and Reporting (BIMR 2)” in cooperation with Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) is organizing the Second Data Use for Decision Making Workshop for SEE.

The workshop is to take place from December 4-6, 2019 in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This three-day event is dedicated to biodiversity data collectors, integrators and providers from ministries in charge of environment, environmental protection agencies, institutes for nature conservation, institutes for protected areas, environmental funds, biodiversity professors and assistants from faculties, curators and museum collectors from natural history museums and NGOs from across the region.

The applicant is requested to fill in the application form , including Motivation letter in English,  and submit it together with the motivation letter in English by November 13 (noon) latest:

The deadline for selection of candidates based on the received and completed applications is November 15 (noon).  The number of participants to join the workshop is limited to 15 people. All costs will be covered by the organizers.
