The International Fair of Energy (a UFI Approved International Event) and the International Trade Fair for Environmental Protection – EcoFair will be held at the Belgrade Fair from October 2-4. The organizers expect more than 320 exhibitors from 20 countries.

The International Fair of Energy (a UFI Approved International Event) and International Trade Fair for Environmental Protection – EcoFair have an accompanying professional program, to strongly feature Chapter 27 of Serbia’s EU accession talks, which deals with climate change and environmental protection. The panels will be attended by representatives of the ministries of mining and energy and environmental protection, as well as power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS). Last year, the fairs were opened by Minister of Environmental Protection Goran Trivan.

The International Energy Fair is the largest annual regional gathering of companies, institutions, and professionals dealing with electricity, coal, oil and gas, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and mining.

The exhibiting and conference programs cover research, production, exploration, distribution, transport, storage, and direct use of natural resources.

The International Trade Fair for Environmental Protection – EcoFair is also the largest and the most representative gathering in this sector in the region. The fair has a business and educational character and is devoted to the environmental protection systems and mechanisms. The main topics will be the green economy, the recycling industry, and waste management.

The exhibiting and conference programs cover all aspects of environmental protection: land, air, water, natural resources, recycling, environment service stock exchanges, local municipalities, and the civil sector engaged in environmental protection, to name a few.
