Schneider Electric is planning fresh investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s infrastructure and energy sectors as well as in creating energy efficient buildings, both commercial and residential. The company’s goal is to increase cooperation with local partners and work on creating new solution in energy management and automation, Milenko Krivokuća,  Schneider’s sales manager said.

“Our focus is certainly on further increasing our cooperation with local partners and large end users in the field of electric power and industry,” Milenko Krivokuća, Schneider’s sales manager based in BiH told SeeNews, and added that the goal  is to participate in an increasing number of projects, especially those that are closely related to the development of infrastructure and electricity supply.

So far, Schneider Electric has worked in Bosnia for almost 20 years on implementing medium and low voltage installations, as well as automation and management solutions in the country’s power distribution companies, thermal power plants, mines and hydro power plants. The company has also converted numerous spaces throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina into smart buildings.

“Because a smart building is a complete system of so called intelligent installations that use electric and thermal energy, natural light and other energy products in the most efficient way in order to save energy, increase the reliability of installations, increase user comfort, and increase the modularity of the facility itself, I believe that in the future there will be more and more such buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Krivokuca said in the recent interview to SEE.

Schneider Electric SE is a France-based multinational corporation that specializes in energy management and automation solutions, spanning hardware, software, and services.
