The Energy Community Secretariat has launched a call for the submission of candidate Projects of Energy Community Interest (PECI) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMI) for the 2018 selection process.

The call will be open until 15 November 2017 COB,

Project promoters are invited to submit candidate projects via project questionnaires to the Energy Community Secretariat by the set deadline.  At the same time, Contracting Party energy ministries will be required to validate or correct pre-filled electricity and gas market data questionnaires to be used in the project assessment.

Priority projects of Energy Community refer to infrastructure projects that comply with the general and specific criteria, as defined in the adapted Regulation 347/2013 on guidelines for trans-European energy infrastructure, most importantly its long term benefits outweigh its costs and has a cross-border dimension.

On 16 October 2015, the Energy Community adopted the Regulation 347/EU/2013, with certain adaptations.
